Lab 2: Get Setup

The purpose of this lab is to get you ready for subsequent assignments. 

Introduction
In this class you will preform the basic setup functions in the Lab Setup Guide. The setup steps will enable you do do subsequent labs so it's very important that you do this lab correctly. You will also need to be able to access Cabrillo's VLab with your newly created username and password. Your VLab account will have a folder  There are three Windows servers in the folder. They are networked together according to the following diagram:

Setup Your Servers
Now that you have access to your VMs you must setup networking on each of them to match the lab setup guide. Perform the following setup tasks. 
  1. Setup networking on SVR-A by following the instructions in section "Configure the Server RWDC01" on page 10. IMPORTANT: The guide expects that your server only has one Ethernet interface, follow the instructions to setup your INTERNAL interface with an IP address. Keep the interface connected to the CIS network set to DHCP. 
  2. Setup SVR-A by following the instructions in section "Installing Active Directory and DNS" on page 11
  3. Setup SVR-A by following the instructions in section "Installing DHCP" on page 13
  4. Setup SVR-B by following the instructions in section "Installing and Configuring Server01" on page 15. Start on Step 26.
Once you have performed the setup instructions take a screenshot of EACH of your VM's network configuration on the "Local Server" page of Server Manager.
